My Why

I started making my own candles and wax melts because I was not satisfied with most of the wax fragrance products in the marketplace. I wanted an affordable, plant-based product and fragrances that were safe for both people and pets, and I was looking for a way to support bird dog breed rescues.

You see, I lost Kyle, my rescue German Shorthaired Pointer, to cancer in August 2019. Kyle found his forever home with me nearly 12 years earlier thanks to a wonderful breed rescue organization. Now, I’m proud to help organizations like that one find loving homes for many more dogs like Kyle by donating 10 percent of my sales to a designated breed rescue each month.

My products look unique because they are made with 100% soy sourced in America and produced by American growers. Candles and melts may have a frosty look to them or they may appear a little bumpy on the surface. This is okay as 100% soy wax hardens in crystal form and is not as smooth as petroleum enhanced waxes.  Each of these one-of-a-kind products is made in my kitchen and hand-poured by me. All fragrances are phthalate-free and made from the highest quality ingredients including essential oils.
